Ignition kill - theft deterrent Run a wire from the (-) negative side of the coil to the back of the cigarette lighter in the dash, replacing the (+) hot wire. Now all you have to do to kill the ignition is push the cigarette lighter in, interrupting the (-) ground to the coil. It should work on anything with a metal dash.
