There's always someone with a camera! Thankfully! This time it was Kevin Yeager, and what a fine job he's done! Well done Kevin!

"If you have never been to Moab, UT, then it might be tough to imagine the 30+ trails that are available to 4wheel...it is not hard too see why Moab has become an outdoor mecca to many. One of the best things about the 4wheeling trails is the wide range of difficulty, from very easy to very difficult. The easy trails can be done in a stock hi-clearance 4x4 (one with a real low range in the transfer case) and are very scenic. For the difficult trails you will need a 4x4 that has been modified to work well in the rocks, even then, some of the trails almost guarantee parts breakage and/or rearranged sheet metal." . .

. . . "...the next obstacle we came to was a rock pile...it was going to take a tricky line to get through...if it weren't for the new rear bumper, the sheet metal of my 4Runner would have been seriously altered."

"I was the first to arrive at the meeting place for Cliff Hanger trail. It wasn't long before our trail leader, Joe Calleja parked his FJ40 next to my 4Runner. Then a gorgeous lookinf FJ45 pickup came down the street...two more FJ40s and another 4Runner would complete our group for this trail."

. . "Cliff Hanger was the toughest trail that I did this year at Cruise Moab. It starts out hard, in the first 3/4 of a mile you climb into Kane Springs Canyon and up the othe side."

When I got home I looked back at the week...I had experienced some good comradery and some good 4wheeling, without breakage or serious damage (knock wood)...Yes, it had been a good week."
