Jason Jewett in his 80-series making it up a washed out portion of Mountain Creek Trail. Jason only sustained a broken front turn signal lense and minor bumper damage, but he assured me that wouldn't happen again when he gets his front bull bar installed! |

Another of many creek crossings on the Poker Run. Here you see Jason Jewett's 80 entering the water ahead of Dave Rising's 40. |
|
Although there was a bypass around the BIG 'OLE MUDHOLE, many chose to navigate it with different outcomes. Here, a FJ40 gets on its side after one of its wheels started climbing up out of the right side of the hole. Luckily, this was soft mud, so no damage occured to the FJ40. |

Another FJ40 cruises through the mud pit, this time with no problems... Far Left - Sindy in her 4-Runner easily navigated through the mudhole with apparent ease. |
|
And another FJ40 plowing thought the mudhole. I think they got a mud shower since they left their cruiser's top off! Far Right - This fella felt right at home in the bottomless pit of mud! |

Gary Don blasted through the mud pit not to be outdone by the j*#p ahead of him! Far Left - Should have taken the bypass! |
|
"Hey, I thought these Rubicons could go anywhere???!!" Far Right - Jason looks on as his wife Amber makes sure that the 80 doesn't go through the mud pit!! |

All the prizes for the Poker Run were displayed in the back of Matte Browne's T100 Toyota 4x4, who graciously transported them throughout the day along Mountain Creek Trail... |
|
Scott Johnson of the Razorback Land Cruisers was the lucky winner of the raffle prize, a Ramsey Patriot 9500 Winch! Congratulations Scott! And thanks for Dave Steelman and his Razorback club for donating the 2005 Razorback Ramble entry, 2005 RLC membership, and RLC t-shirts & Stickers and also making a strong showing at the event. |

Special thanks goes out to Randy Underwood for being a great Trail Leader, Dave Rising for dealing the Poker Hands, Jason Jewett for keeping tabs on what cards were drawn, and Matt Browne for the use of his T100 truck which hauled the Poker Run Prizes around with us and was the "presentation" platform while we awarded prizes at the day's end. The day's trail ride on Mountain Creek Trail was perfect for stock rigs and there were a couple of places for those who wanted more of a challenge where the use of a winch was the only way through! |
