Poker Run 2002     ... January 2002, Cass Arkansas
. . . A lot of fun. Cool weather, cool people and cool, capable rigs... And I didn't get to use my new winch!!
I hope all the new friends the Green Country Cruisers made at the 2002 Winter Poker Run will join us again sometime...Jody.

. What a great bunch of guys to 'Wheel with! It's always nice to get out and wheel, and Land Cruiser owners almost always are a pleasure to be around, but this group had a such a variety of people and vehicles that it was especially enjoyable. And it got even more interesting after the official "Poker Run"!, for those who stayed to wheel even more. Just ask Dave Rising!...Randy . The Birfield Experience

I was very impressed at how well received my dad and I were as "outsiders." We were actually invited to the run by a member of the Rockcrawlers. I have recently moved back to the area from Sacramento and I was debating on which club to join. The GCC crew are a great bunch and we felt right at home...Shannon

I'm an Arizona boy and I'm still learning how to play in this stuff you all call MUD. It may have cost me a fender flare, but it was a lot of fun. Now, I can hardly wait to get the locker back in my 4Runner and try it again...Kevin

. Despite not driving my own truck on this run, I had a SPAKLAWOW of a time! With Jody's digital camera on hand, I was able to hop back and forth between different rigs and take plenty of pictures. I especially enjoyed driving Rich's full size LR! Although I also have a larger 100 series LC, it's never been on the trails, and commanding this LR Big brute was quite a memorable experience (Rich was a great sport) The run was well organized and interesting with such a mix of vehicles. Mark's Lightweight LR was Da Bomb! ... Gotta get one of those! Also, the night run on the John Turner trail and extracting Dave's 40 (minus one birfield) from the stream using a high lift jack, strap, winch, human body weight, rocks, etc was fun enough to say "This is what it's all about...and gimmie some more!"...and it couldn't be with a better bunch of folks. Can't wait until next time :-0 ... Mojo-Bo .
